Little Ghosts Free Washcloth Pattern

Perhaps in part because I got really into the show Ghosts this year (it started with the US version then I discovered I could watch the UK version on CBC Gem), I got some fall/spooky season/Halloween inspo for a washcloth to add to my collection of Halloween washcloths (Broomsticks, Pumpkin Patch, and Candy Corn).

A purple square knit washcloth with a pattern of four textured ghosts.

While I’ve had various ideas come to me since I last posted many, many months ago, the timing worked out this time for me to act on the inspiration to pick up my needles and make this washcloth, and then to do the equally time consuming part of writing everything up and posting!

I hope you enjoy knitting these little ghosts!

Finish off your washcloth:
R51-56: K.
Bind off.

Use a tapestry needle to weave in your ends. It is recommended that you block your washcloth, I favour steam-blocking for speed if you’re looking to gift your finished washcloth, or get a pic for Instagram (always my goal haha), but since you’ll be washing your Little Ghosts as you use them, wet blocking or no blocking would also be acceptable.

I’d love to see your wips and finished projects! Add a project on Ravelry, and/or tag me on Instagram and use the hashtags #KnittleAndPearl and #KnittleGhosts.
