Stitch Primer Beanie

This is a simple hat that lets you experiment with numerous textures and stitches. The pattern includes written instructions, as well as pictures for how to identify by sight in the fabric what stitch you should be doing next for each of the stitch patterns.

A variety of decreases in each section bring the slipped stitch borders together like a star at the crown of the hat.

Gauge: 3 sts x 5 rows = 1″ in stockinette

Needle size: US 10.5 / 6.5 mm 16″ circular needles, and dpns

Yardage: 60 – 85 yds / 55 – 78 m
