First Flakes Beanie Pattern

This is a fun take on the classic double brim beanie! Knit with two colours, colour blocked, a very simple lace snowflake is part of the brim, giving a peek-a-boo effect to your contrast colour on the other side of your brim!

For the main colour I used 57 yards of Lion Brand Thick & Quick (cranberry)
For the contrast colour I used 19 yards of Lion Brand Thick & Quick (fisherman)

Yarn weight: Super bulky (CYC category 6)

Gauge: 9.5 stitches by 15 rows = 4″ / 10 cm in stockinette

Needle size: US 11 – 8.0 mm

Yardage: 85 – 90 yards / 78-82 m
