Cables Fir Christmas Tree Skirt

This tree skirt is knit from the outer edge in and is sized for a relatively averaged size tree!

Seven cabled “trees” go around the tree skirt.

Finished Size:

Diameter: 39″ / 99 cm

Width of knitting laid flat: 21.5″ / 54.5 cm

Toggles or buttons can be added or not.

Needles: 10 mm / US Size 15, at least 24″ / 61 cm
9 mm / US Size 13, at least 24″ / 61 cm

Yarn: 512 – 565 yds / 468 – 517 m Super Bulky (CYC Category 6, I used Lion Brand Wool-ease Thick & Quick in wheat, 80% acrylic, 20% wool)

Gauge: 8.5 sts x 14 rows = 4″ / 10 cm in stockinette on 10 mm needles
