Beach Nights Pullover

Description

Need a truly light knit sweater for those cooler summer evenings? This is the sweater you’ve been looking for! The classic fit is easy to wear, and will keep you comfortable when the temperature dips along with the sun.

The pullover has a crew neck with a V cut-out and is knit from the bottom up in the round to the sleeves, then knit flat. The sleeves are picked up and knit in the round as well, with slight decreases so you can roll up the sleeves if you want.

This pattern is written for 9 sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) and has 0-2” of positive ease.

YARN
Lion Brand LB Collection Merino Silk Cotton was used to make the sample, which is listed as a fingering weight yarn. It is quite a heavy fingering weight and sport weight yarn may also be suitable.

SKILLS REQUIRED
Cast on, knit, purl, decreases, three-needle bind-off, picking up stitches.

Gauge: 17 sts x 24 rows = 4” x 4” knit in stockinette (blocked)

Needle size: 5.5 mm / US Size 9

Yardage: 753 – 1559 yds / 689 – 1426 m
